Abstract
У статті здійснено аналіз волатильності світових цін на нафту з метою встановлення статистичних характеристик їх розподілу, закономірностей мінливості у певні історичні періоди для практичного використання встановлених статистичних характеристик під час прогнозування цін на нафту, інвестиційного аналізу та вартісної оцінки запасів та ресурсів нафтових родовищ.
The article deals with the analysis of volatility of the world oil prices in order to determine the statistic characteristics of its distribution, the regularities of variability in certain historic periods, the aim thereof being practical use of the determined statistic characteristics in oil prices forecast, investment analysis and valuation of oil field reserves and resources.
