In the article there have been generalized the results of drilling oil and gas wells in the main regions of Russia where there is ingress of brine. The characteristic of brine ingress areas has been given and the most complicated conditions have been shown. It has been recommended the effective ways of drilling wells under the conditions of brine ingress.
